INFORMATION WE RECEIVE

PAYMENT INFORMATION

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. The Pocket Shelf does not receive or store your complete payment-card number. Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy policy and security practices.

HOW INFORMATION IS USED

We use customer information to process and deliver orders, provide support, communicate about a purchase, prevent fraud, maintain business records, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell customer personal information.

WEBSITE ANALYTICS

We use privacy-conscious, first-party analytics to understand visits and improve this website. The system records anonymous browser and session identifiers, pages viewed, selected button clicks, referring website or campaign, general device type, and approximate city, state, or country provided by our hosting network. We do not store full IP addresses, advertising profiles, or analytics names and email addresses. Anonymous identifiers may be stored in your browser so repeat visits can be counted without identifying you personally.

REVIEWS AND COMMUNITY PHOTOS

If you submit a review or a photo showing how you use The Pocket Shelf, we receive the name, email address, review, rating, caption, and photo you choose to provide. Your email address is used for moderation or follow-up and is never displayed with a published submission. Every submission is reviewed before publication. Approved names, ratings, reviews, captions, and photos may be displayed publicly on this website. Uploaded photos are resized and re-encoded before storage to remove embedded metadata such as location information. You may ask us to remove a published submission by contacting us.

SERVICE PROVIDERS

Information may be shared with providers that help operate the business, such as payment processors, website hosting providers, and shipping carriers, only as reasonably needed to provide their services or meet legal requirements.

RETENTION AND CHOICES

We retain business records for as long as reasonably necessary for orders, support, accounting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. You may contact us to ask about your information or request a correction or deletion, subject to records we must retain.
